Light Dessert Recipes for Festive Seasons

During the festive season there can be some changes in our current diet and lifestyle; we may experience problems with balancing health and energy when we eat big family dinners and delicious desserts.

You can replace the desserts you prepare for a tasty meal with light and practical dessert recipes that are easy on your stomach.

If you don’t want to compromise your taste while maintaining your form, you can check out both healthy and delicious desserts recipes we compiled for you.

Healthy Raw Chocolate Truffles

  • 12 Medjool dates, soaked in hot water to soften if not already soft, drain before using
  • ⅔ tablespoons coconut oil
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup coconut powder
  • 3 tablespoons cacao powder
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon maca powder, optional but recommended – can also add any other superfood powders you like!

To roll:

  • cacao powder
  • and/or coconut powder

Instructions

Add the Medjool dates to the blender and blend until smooth, scraping down the sides of the blender as necessary. Add the cacao powder, maca powder, and sea salt. Blend until completely combined and smooth, using the tamper to make sure everything is incorporated and scraping down the sides as necessary. Use a small cookie scoop or a tablespoon to make tablespoon-sized balls. Roll into balls between your hands. Place the coconut powder and cacao powder in separate bowls, and then roll each ball in hemp seeds or cacao powder.

Strawberry Granola Yoghurt Parfait

  • 4 strawberry, sliced
  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ⅔ cups granola
  • ⅔ cups date puree ( Mix ⅓ cup dates, ⅓ cup milk and ½ teaspoon vanilla with a pinch of salt and prepare a smooth mixture. Then cook for 5-10 minutes.)

Instructions

Çilekleri dilimleyin. Yoğurt ve vanilyayı çırpın daha sonra kavanozun içerisine 2 tatlı kaşığı granola, 1-2 dilim çilek, 1 tatlı kaşığı hurma püresi ve 2 yemek kaşığı yoğurt koyun. Bu işlemi kavanoz dolana kadar devam ettirin.

Peach Brulee

  • 4 large fresh, ripe peaches, halved
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup coarsely chopped pecans

Instructions

Arrange peach halves, cut-side up in a shallow baking dish. In a small dish, stir together the brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger and chopped pecans. Sprinkle the mixture over the peaches.

Broil 3 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the topping is browned.

Chocolate Avocado Pudding

  • 2 large avocados – peeled, pitted, and cubed
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup coconut milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon

Instructions

Blend avocados, cocoa powder, brown sugar, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a blender until smooth. Refrigerate pudding until chilled, about 30 minutes.
